Bathroom Remodel Part 1

This bathroom was in need of a slight update and with the new tile floor, toilet, vanity and lighting the results are breathtaking.  See part two below for more!

Bathroom Remodel Part 2

As you can see, a part of the hardwood floor was removed and replaced with tile which is not only more functional in this space but beautiful as well.

Screened Patio Remodel.

This patio needed some extra love to bring back the glory it once had.  There was extensive rot on both the floor and many of the beams.  The old floor was completely removed with new tongue and groove boards installed and thereafter three coats of poly were applied to both protect it and make it shine.  The rotting board were replaced and the entire patio painted.  A new door and screen were installed to tie the final product together.  This is one of our favorite transformations to date!

Another Screened in Patio (Part I)

As you can see in the photo, this screened in porch was in desperate need of some tender love and care.  With new windows and new siding, it became almost unrecognizable.

Another Screened in Patio (Part 2)

A door as well as an additional window gave this old screened in patio new life as a three season room.

Kitchen Remodel.

This kitchen became almost unrecognizable with new cabinets, countertops, full tile back splash, new window, and new fixtures and lights.

Custom Garage Door.

This was an interesting project! The client wanted their garage door widened and replaced with a barn style door.  After some demo work to widen the existing garage, a new door insulated barn style door was custom made to the client’s specifications, primed and installed.  The opening to the garage is now wide enough to fit a car.

Cottage Kitchen Upgrade.

This quaint cottage was in need of a kitchen upgrade which would retain its rustic charm.  All new cabinets, new countertop, new faucet and a farm sink were installed to give it some pizazz while keeping its country appeal.

Dining Room Remodel:

As you can see, this dining room was in serious disrepair.  The home had flooded and the very outdated wallpaper had become stained and covered in mold.  The wall paper was removed and it was discovered that the plaster had cracked in some areas.  The plaster was repaired and painted.  Finally, the oak hardwood floors were sanded and coated with high gloss polyurethane for that beautiful shine. What a difference!

Custom Radiator Cover

What a difference a simple cover made in this small bungalow space!

Old Porch Remodel:

This old porch was rebuilt, wall by wall, with new windows, new door, and new stairs constructed.  Afterwards, new vinyl siding was installed and a beautiful stone garden wall constructed.  Incredible difference!

Frozen and Burst Pipe:

This was quite the mess! The pipe behind the shower wall had burst and began flooding the bathroom and basement of this home.  The shower liner was torn down, dry wall cut, and pipe removed and replaced.  Thereafter, a new tub liner and fixtures were installed and the entire bathroom painted.

Living Room Remodel:

This before and after proves that wall paper and carpet removal along with a little paint and floor restoration can make a world of difference!

New Deck & Porch Remodel:

Added a sliding patio door in place of existing windows; patched in old existing storm door and added a sliding window; constructed a pressure treated lumber deck; and added new vinyl siding.  This one looks unrecognizable from the “before” photo.

Wooden Encasement:

Simple, cheap and easy solution for crumbling old concrete stairs - encase them in pressure treated lumber.  After a few months, the stairs will be ready for paint and will undergo yet another transformation.

Hardwood Floor Rescue:

The previous homeowner had glued a carpet down on this oak hardwood floor.  After removing the glue with a steam cleaner, the floor was sanded and finished with a high gloss clear polyurethane to bring out its natural beauty.

Wall Tile.

Installed a new laminate floor and put up a full tile backsplash as well as tiled the wall near the oven for easy clean up.

Custom Kitchen Island.

Same kitchen as the tile work above.  For this project, the cabinet was lined in “Cape Cod” shiplap and the butchers block stained to add shine to the finished project.
